Susan Carpenter

Susan Carpenter is all about family, whether it be yours or hers! Born and raised just 45 minutes from Batesville in Searcy Arkansas Susan married a native, R.L. Carpenter, and they made Batesville their home in 1977. They have two children Amy Pinkston of Batesville and LT. Col. Chris Carpenter who is currently stationed at Fort Hood, Texas.Susan received her real estate license in 1979 and 10 years later passed her brokers exam. She is currently the active principal broker of Gateway Properties. In order to gain more knowledge and better serve customers, she completed her GRI (Graduate of the Realtors Institute) and CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designations. But the course that she credits the most for really changing her career and making her a multi million dollar producer was a 13 week Floyd Wickman‘s “sweat hogs” class. There she was able to sharpen her skills helping her customers sell faster with greater results. In addition, Susan has over 20 years of experience working with nationally recognized relocation companies helping their transferees buy and sell properties. Susan has four grandchildren that are the love of her life. If you're around her very long you’ll probably hear about them. She loves crafting, particularly scrapbooking. Susan has been in the same Bridge Club for over 20 years
